I'm Jordana, I am the person behind the lens and JER Photography. I am located in central Alberta but will never decline travel to capture memories. 

 My love for photography started when I was old enough to hold a camera, at the age of 5 I had my very own film camera, I took photos of everything and anything. When I was 12, I used all my savings for my first DSLR camera.

I pay close attention to details so you can trust I will capture even the smallest details of your special day. I also have been told that I think outside the box when it comes to taking photos, I like to create unique images and push myself to create something even better than the idea in my head. 

I am a very easy going person, also for lack of a better description a bit quirky with a quiet sense of humor. I encourage you to be your true authentic self because there's never any judgment from me; everyone is welcome in front of my lens!   

I look forward to capturing your milestones, your family as it grows and create new friends because I believe in being more than just the person behind the camera. 

I have graduated from Burwell School Of Photography with my  portrait diploma and wedding diploma.

I have been internationally published 12 times with many of my creative conceptual concepts. 

Boudoir is my favorite genre to photograph, I love the empowerment and beauty captured in the sessions.  I also really enjoy all things love; engagements, elopements and weddings.

Some randomness about me that you will never need but hopefully get a chuckle out of the uniqueness that is Jordana.

~ I'm left handed, left eye dominant (I found this out when I got laser eye surgery) but think with the right side of my brain (more creatively) 

~ Golden Retrievers are my all time favorite dog ... and well maybe animal.  (If you have a golden apart of your special day or photos there's a good chance you will save some $ in exchange for some floof pets)

~ 3 of my dream places to travel are New Zealand, United Kingdom and South Africa (why those places you may ask?) well for one I hear they are beautiful and would be amazing to take photos there and second I am a sucker for accents.  

~ I have a daughter who is my mini me and keeps me laughing and on my toes all the time.

~ All my caffeine comes from tea since I haven't been able to get on board with coffee - I guess you could call me an avid tea enthusiast. Fresh fruit and movies are other usually controversial things I dont super enjoy but veggies and music now we are talking. 

~ I am 1/4 Japanese, (usually people can't tell because the only real giveaway is my eyes) and a whole bunch of European.
